Luke Brodie, manager of Vendella International says, “we provide anything you find in the room.” After spotting a gap in the tourism sector, Luke established Vendella International in 2008 to supply accommodation with quality products. From a small company who started with one phone, one computer and two staff, they’ve experienced phenomenal growth. Today, Vendella International have 16 staff members and boast customers like Sky City and Rydges Hotel.
Losing track of stock
Before using Unleashed, Vendella International were having a difficult time managing their physical stock. “We had no idea of our stock quantities; what was in stock, what was out of stock or where it was,” explains Luke. Instead, they relied on physical stock counts. Doing a physical stock take as part of your inventory management can be highly inaccurate and inefficient. Aside from human inaccuracy, you also have to ensure nothing is sold during the time of stock take as it affects total stock count.”It gives me more clarity on what’s happening in the company.”
