The option to use online business tools have clearly grown in the last few years, and this is building momentum. We are now seeing SME’s have the option to run completely off SaaS products, or from a combination of online and traditional components. This has become an expectation in the market, rather than a hard sell. I can only expect this global momentum to continue growing, it’s very exciting.
It’s extremely encouraging to see eager adoption of not only online products but of integrated solutions. Light all-in-one options can be a great fit for certain companies but for those who need the extra functionality in key areas of their business, the component solution looks to fill the gaps. The key is making it easy and seamless for the client and this is now possible with powerful integration and bundled support from our Implementation Partners.
We’re not just seeing Xero and Unleashed come together, but three or four components being pulled together to form a complete solution (Ecommerce, Unleashed, Xero, Payroll etc.). We’re excited to see this happening and are actively supporting it, with Unleashed working on integration into Vend (online point of sale software) to provide a compelling solution to retailers. Target release for this integration is next quarter.
To make things even more exciting, nearly every accounting or bookkeeping firm we work with understands the power of a SaaS component solution. They are comfortable bringing these together for their clients, and are amending their business model around them. The potential revenue of offering this service is growing, and the eagerness to be on the cutting edge of software, and offering service to clients wanting to get online is growing.
