In the west coast of Scotland, Renewable Parts manufactures and supplies wind turbine parts. Boasting over 100 customers, Renewable Parts caters to businesses that range from the largest utility companies like Scottish Power and EDF Energy, to a farmer with one or two wind turbines on his farm. Renewable Parts have been experiencing stellar growth, having quadrupled in size over the past three years. “Managing inventory is a highly complex area. It may seem very simple to many businesses but they actually do it quite poorly,” says James Barry, CEO of Renewable Parts. “Unleashed is the hub of [our] business,” explains James. The team at Renewable Parts have been using Unleashed to drive their inventory efficiency from their warehouse, logistics, and accounts. In time, they plan to use Unleashed to drive their sales and CRM processes too.
“The way Unleashed is set up and works within our business is vital. We couldn’t really imagine not having a software package like Unleashed.”
But Unleashed is more than just an inventory management software. In considering an inventory management software for the business, James was concerned about how user-friendly it was. “We find that not just is the software good, but we also like working with the Unleashed team,” says James. In recommending Unleashed to his customers, James explains that it not only improves his customers’ business, but also creates a tighter, more long-standing relationship between them. One of the most exciting things about Renewable Parts is their speed of progress. Now with a better way of managing their inventory, they are ready to scale their business for growth!
