An Implementation Partner can be instrumental in helping businesses set up cloud-based apps right from the get go.
Here’s Steve Tate, business development manager of No Fuss Business, on how he’s helped his client, Vetpak, grow and develop their business with the use of the right cloud-based inventory management software.
When my wife, Carolyn started No Fuss Business in 2014, she focused on bookkeeping and accounting services. However, we quickly realised that there were a lot of businesses who needed services that extended past basic bookkeeping and accounting services.
Discovering cloud-based apps
As a Kiwi company, we chose Unleashed because they were also from New Zealand. We also like the app’s functionality — we felt that it would provide the right functionality for our clients to manage their business and deliver value. We also liked the development program because we could see that the app was continually improved upon.“Any business that’s not getting real-time info out of inventory management, warehousing or distribution should be looking at a cloud-based app.”
Helping Vetpak realise benefits of the cloud
We started working with Vetpak in October 2018. For them, it was all about the data. They wanted to access it in rael-time from any location, have the ability to dig deeper to look at their profitability and sales margins and set up processes so that their managers can make informed business decisions in real-time. We started our project by scoping out the goals and objectives, gathering all the data and setting up training programs and were ready to go live by April 2019.“The benefits of being on the cloud, to an SME, are numerous.”Cloud-based apps can benefit many businesses. Real-time data is accessible anywhere, the app is continually developed so you won’t have to spend resources building something yourself, and you only need a PC and a web browser. When it comes down to picking a cloud app, there are two things to consider:
- Is it going to deliver the functionality and data you want?
- Is the app continually supported and enhanced?
